Privacy Policy

We collect as little as we can: the details you send us when you get in touch, and basic, cookieless visit statistics. Here is exactly what, why, and what you can do about it.

01Who we are

Intellectiq (“we”, “us”) is an AI agent and automation studio. We run intellectiq.dev (the “Site”) and are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

For anything about your data, email hello@intellectiq.dev.

02What we collect

The Site has no accounts, sign-up or contact form, so we collect very little. It comes from two places.

Information you give us. When you email us or book a call, we receive what you provide: your name, email address, company, time zone, and anything you write in a message or booking note. Booking is handled by Cal.com, which passes us those details.

Information collected automatically. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It records page views along with technical details such as referrer, country, browser, operating system and device type. It is designed not to use cookies or to follow you across other sites. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, including IP address and user agent, to run the Site and keep it secure.

03How we use it

  • to reply to your message and to schedule and hold calls you ask for;
  • to prepare for, and follow up after, a conversation about working together;
  • to understand how the Site is used and to improve it;
  • to keep the Site secure and to prevent abuse;
  • to meet legal and accounting obligations.

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.

04Legal bases

Where data protection law such as the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Steps you ask us to take before a contract, when you enquire about or book a conversation;
  • Legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the Site and answering business enquiries, balanced against your rights;
  • Consent, where we ask for it, which you can withdraw at any time;
  • Legal obligation, where we must keep or share records by law.

05Cookies and similar technologies

We don't set advertising or tracking cookies of our own. When you open the booking widget, scripts from Cal.com load in your browser, and Cal.com may use cookies or similar storage to make it work. See Cal.com's privacy policy for details. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work.

06Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Site and talk to you, under terms that limit how they may use it:

  • Vercel, for hosting and analytics;
  • Cal.com, for scheduling, along with the calendar and video tools used for the call itself;
  • our email provider, which handles messages sent to and from hello@intellectiq.dev.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, or as part of a business sale or restructuring, in which case we will make sure this policy still applies to it.

07International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where we transfer personal data out of the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on an appropriate safeguard, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

08How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking details only as long as needed to deal with your request and to keep a sensible record of it. If we go on to work together, project records are kept for the engagement and for as long afterwards as the contract or the law requires. Site analytics are kept in aggregated form by our analytics provider.

You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.

09Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected, or have your data erased;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent where we rely on it.

To use any of these, email hello@intellectiq.dev. We may need to confirm who you are first. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

10Client project data

When we build or run systems for a client, we may handle that client's data, including personal data of their staff and customers. That work is covered by our written agreement with the client, including any data processing terms, and not by this policy. If you think your data reached us that way, contact the organisation you deal with first.

11Security and children

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, and we choose providers that do the same. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

The Site is meant for businesses and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The current version is always on this page with its “last updated” date, and we'll make any significant change clear.
